Youth Education Task Force Report Approved by Board

As a leading congregation in Canada and in the Reform Movement, Holy Blossom Temple must provide a model for the finest part-time Jewish education program.  We must provide for the coming generation.  This is what we mean when we say:  ‘Renewal of Space and Spirit’.

This sentiment, expressed by Rabbi Yael Splansky, inspired and guided the members of the Youth Education Task Force through our six month journey culminating with the Temple Board of Directors  accepting the report  and endorsing the recommendations.
Thirteen Temple members and the Education Team led by Rabbi Jordan Helfman, Debbie Speigel and Lisa Isen Baumal participated.  Together we explored our own connection to Holy Blossom and  the history of the religious school, conducted research into other ‘best practices’ across North America and identified 4 key strategic directions including:  To establish Holy Blossom Temple as a ‘home base’ for connecting and belonging.
