YEC – Sunday November 27 – Daniel – Grade 3

On Sunday, the grade 3 class read about adoption and conversion in the Jewish tradition.  Students understood that there are many different ways that people join into our Jewish community and we celebrate all of them!  After T’fillah, we looked at the story of Chanukkah and tried to find a few big ideas that can inform what we will do with our class Tzedakah box.  Most students wanted to buy school supplies, books and art materials for kids who need them.
