YEC Sunday November 20 – Grade – 2 Jaclyn

Dear Grade 2 Parents,

In this week’s class, we examined four prominent Jewish heroes —Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Jacob. We learned about their life histories and famous stories in which they appear in the bible. We also spoke about what makes them so special and important, and their contributions towards Jewish history. The students were really engaged, actively participating, and asking many great questions. In terms of Hebrew reading, we thoroughly reviewed our past few lessons by using flashcards and having reading challenges. Today we studied the letter Tav, and practiced it with worksheets.
