YEC – Monday November 21 – Grade 7

Our Grade 7 students were at Shaarei Shomayim Congregation this week, for a quick tour and a chance to meet with the rabbi, Chaim Strauchler. The students had studied a bit about orthodox Judaism prior to the trip, and now had a chance to ask their questions in person. It was a very good visit – our children were wonderful guests in someone else’s house.

We look forward to the continued conversation on monotheistic religions as we will process our experience together, and then further our studies when we learn about Christianity – leading up to our visit at the Church of the Assumption on December 12^th.
