YEC – Grade 5 Sunday December 4 – Tali

Shalom everyone

In Hebrew class we continued practicing our reading parts of Ge’voorot and as I always do, I had kids beside me to help with individual reading, while the rest of the kids were working in their books.

In concluding the study of Joshua ,  the kids wrote about an experience that they had where they were scared to do something and they got the courage to do it after all just as Joshua was encouraged by God to continue with the words CHAZAK VEEMATZ, be strong and courageous.

Today when we finish reading each Torah book we are saying Chazak Chazak ve’nitchazak. The kids wrote a story about Joshua and we listened to some that were really good. We started talking about Chanukah as it is right around the corner  and we played Bingo in Hebrew.  It was so much fun and so much done in one day.
