YEC – Grade 2 Sunday December 4 – Jaclyn

Dear Grade 2 Parents:

In this week’s class, we studied The Garden of Eden story found in the book of Genesis. Continuing after the creation of the world, G-d created man, Adam, in his image, and then women, Eve, to assist him in managing and taking care of all of his creations living on earth. We discussed the significance of the garden, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and Adam and Eve’s consequence. After learning the content, we answered some questions, performed a skit and did a crossword puzzle. Additionally, as a class, we had the privilege of working with the Shinshinim  in doing a creative activity where the students were required to think about the distinctions between those who living in Canada vs. those living in Israel. Regarding Hebrew language, we also learned a new letter, final Mem, and two new vowels.
