Wednesday March 2 – Tali

Shalom everyone

On Wednesday we continued working hard to improve our Hebrew reading, concluding the prayer “Oseh Shalom”- make peace.  We read that the root of the word Shalom means whole and that both names -Jerusalem and Solomon have that root in their names. We read a verse from the prophet Isaiah that also shows how the quest for peace has always been important to the Jewish people.

We also learned the Hebrew names of the days of the week.

As for the prophet study we could not finish the work about Jonah as some kids forgot their binders so we each wrote about his/her favorite prophet.
