Wednesday January 24, 2018 – Fairlawn Campus

This week we learned about the environment and what we can do to help.  Some of what we learned was to save water, plant a tree, recycle, and turn off the lights.

The Grade 1s learned the Hebrew letter Yud and the word Yeladim (children). The Grade 3s listened to some short stories from the book, Listen to the Trees. They learned the importance of taking care of the earth.

Next week we will continue to learn about Tu B’Shevat. Grade 1s will learn the Hebrew letter Kaf and word Kelev (dog). The Grade 3s will continue to learn about mitzvot and life cycles.
