Wednesday April 18, 2018 – Fairlawn

Shalom everyone

We have learned the letter Pay this week and the word parpar, which means butterfly, it’s such a perfect word to describe freedom as we celebrated Israel’s 70th birthday. We talked about Israel being born after the war and that so many things were achieved there in such short time.

We made beautiful flags, learned Israel’s national anthem, acknowledged that the emblem of Israel is the Menorah and Jerusalem is the capital and that we are learning Hebrew which is Israel’s language.  We played some games in Hebrew and had lots of fun together.
