The Joy of Music…Why Don’t You Try It!

Hello…my name is Marla Powers and I have been a member of Temple Singers for many years. It was the lovely sounds of the Friday night services and the glorious art music of our Shabbat and Festival services that led to my becoming a member of this congregation. Being a Temple Singer connects me to the congregation as my spiritual family.
Temple Singers, under the direction of Beny Maissner, Musical Director invite all members who love to sing to join us as we begin intensive rehearsals for S’lichot and 2nd day Rosh Hashanah. You do not need to know how to read music. We have a great time singing, laughing, learning and developing a terrific chavurah group. During our snack break we shmooz and deepen our connection to each other.
