Join us on Wednesday evening, January 14 as Professor Laura Wiseman, of York University, delves into the story of Rachel. Who is she? What made her “tick’? Rachel is one of the most interesting personalities of the Torah. She, in her quiet, and not so quiet way, guides the history of our people as only she could.

We will have a special literary look at the images of Rachel through passages of the Bible and the Midrash, and also via passages in modern Hebrew poetry.  Laura is a wonderful speaker and teacher. She has much to offer our congregation and community.
