Teen Volunteer Opportunities @ HBT:

Are you looking for volunteer opportunities?  Holy Blossom has tons of opportunities for teens to volunteer, gaining experience, hours, and skills, all at once!  Check back regularly for new opportunities, or be in touch to find out what is coming up!

Here is a list of Teen volunteer opportunities in the coming weeks:

1. Sunday, October 5^th, 9am – 12:30pm:  Sukkah decorating – help kids create and hang decorations in the sukkah.  Volunteers can come for the full 3.5 hours, or any part of the time.
2. Thursday, October 9^th, 10am – 2:30pm:  Holy Chag! Sukkot – volunteers needed to help facilitate this program for kids in JK – grade 4.  Extra hours can be gained if you come help plan the day.  volunteers can come for the full time, or from 12pm – 2:30pm
3. Thursday, October 16^th, 5:30pm:  Simchat Torah Flag decorating – help facilitate flag decorating for young kids, then be a Torah carrier into the sanctuary, and help on the bimah as the scrolls  get exchanged during all the hakafot.

Ongoing volunteer opportunities include:

• Ushering on Shabbat
• Shabbat morning greeter
• Chant Torah or Haftorah
• Lead Ashrei
• Lead a Shacharit morning service, or Mincha/Maariv evening service
• Playing in the Shabbat Neginah Band
