Dear Parents:

This week in Grade 3 we learned the Hebrew word Ani  and worked through a “Mi Ani/Who Am I” questionnaire. The Grade 3 students engaged with both their English and Hebrew names and some students shared the origin of both – feel free to discuss with your child where their English and Hebrew name comes from! We also learned about “Jewish Birthdays” and discovered which days on the Hebrew calendar each Grade 3 was born. Students reviewed some of their Hebrew letters and contributed to a large Alef-Bet display for the classroom. We are looking forward to another great day next week!
