Sunday November 26, 2017 – Sandra

Today we learned so much with our Shimshinim. We learned about the creator/designer of Modern Hebrew, Eliezer Ben Yehuda. He was the one who brought back Hebrew as a modern spoken language.  We had loads of fun playing games and learning new Hebrew words.

We also talked about Chanukah and the special traditions of the day.

We, as always, are working on our Hebrew reading fluency. PLEASE take some time and read at home – anything will work!

We finished our day singing Chanukah songs with Avishai Sol, our madrich and a regional song leader for NFTY-NEL – the region for our teen youth group HABSTY .
