Sunday May 7, 2017 – Alexandra

Dear JK Parents,

This week, we learned about the Ten Commandments and talked a little about the holiday of Shavuot. We talked about why it is important for us to have rules at home and in the classroom, and made clay mezzuzot as a reminder to follow the rules. (Please allow them to dry overnight before hanging them – many of the children mentioned wanting to hang them on their bedroom doors!)

It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown – we’ve reached our final week together! Next week, we will be looking back on our wonderful memories of this year and looking ahead to SK next year.
