Sunday May 1 – Tali

Shalom everyone:

In preparation for Yom Hashoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day, which is this coming Thursday, we spent time on Sunday  talking about discrimination and about the importance of remembering what happened to the Jewish people and other minorities during World War 2.

We watched the movie PAPER CLIPS and  shared some stories of what we know about that time.

As a special treat, we enjoyed pizza while we watched the movie!  We also watched the grade 2 and 3 students perform their Siyum Ha-Sefer play, celebrating their learning the aleph bet.
