Sunday May 1 – Alexandra

Dear JK Parents,

 Today we learned about Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s birthday! We celebrated by making paper flags and reading a story about a trip to Israel. We also learned some Israeli dances with our Shinshinim and sang some Hebrew songs.

 Next week, we will be learning about Shavuot and the Ten Commandments. We will read a story about why rules are important and make a Mother’s Day craft to practice the commandment of honouring parents. See you then!
