Sunday March 6 – Ariella

This week, both grade 1 classes got together for a Pre-Purim Palooza! We were so happy that so many parents came. Thank you especially to parents who brought Mishloach Manot (gifts of food) 🙂 Our activity began with a Purim story, and the students then learned about the tradition of exchanging Mishloach Manot with each other on Purim day. We also spoke about giving tzedakah on Purim, or volunteering in the community. The students then decorated crowns for a Purim costume, and exchanged Mishloach Manot bags with each other.
