Sunday January 31 – Alendra

Dear JK Parents,

 Today we learned about the Mitzvah of Bikkur Cholim. We read “A Sick Day For Amos McGee” with the SKs and Grade 1s and talked about things we can do for family and friends who are sick. The JKs made beautiful get well cards and treat boxes – please help them to fill the box and give it to a friend or family member who’s not feeling well.

We also acted out the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden as a puppet show. They really enjoyed it! Next week, we’ll be acting out the story of Noah’s Ark, as well as having another visit from our Shinshinim.
