Sunday January 15, 2017 – Jaclyn & Rebekah

Dear Grade 2 Parents,

I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break.  It was really nice having everyone back at school this morning! In today’s class, we studied the famous tale of Noah and the flood. As a class the we learned the story, and the students responded to corresponding questions in their handouts.

We discussed the significance of the rainbow and completed an arts and craft activity which represented how students feel safe and strive to do good deeds. In Hebrew class, we reviewed each of the letters that we have studied thus far, and practiced reading in small groups.

It’s our pleasure to announce that an additional teacher, Rebekah Houpt has joined our Grade 2 class to enhance your childrens’ experience.
