Sunday January 14, 2018 – Melody & Rivah
Hello Families!
Welcome back! We had a great first class back after the break. We started the morning with tons of laughter and sharing stories about our vacation. It was lovely to be reunited with our buddies for tefilah. They were very excited to see us.
Rivah read us a story today! She read “Something from Nothing” and the children loved it. We also learned about winter (choref). We sang a Hebrew song about a snowman (eysh sheleg) and talked about snow (sheleg). Our art today was creating a winter scene using Q-tips and white paint. We wrote out the words “snow” and “שלג” with the Q-tips to look like they were written in snowflakes.
Please note that the choir is now open to JK/SK. The choir meets Sunday’s at 9:00am. I know a few students expressed their interest in joining last term, so please mention to them that they now have the opportunity.
Hope to see everyone next Sunday! Have a wonderful week!
Melody
