Dear Grade 2 Parents,

It was really nice to see everyone and have all the students back in class this week! Today the students examined four prominent Jewish Heroes from the bible. We learned about their heroic stories and the characteristics that define them as heroes. The students were given the chance to work together and reflect on those characteristics.  They did a class presentation about the ways THEY are heros in their community. They also related the four bible heroes that they studied to heroes found within their own lives. For Hebrew language, we played tic-tac-toe and reviewed letters and vowels.
