Sunday February 5 – Carly

Hello SK families!

This week in honour of Tu B’shvat, we brought out our green thumbs. We planted little parsley plants and talked about the importance of trees for our community but also globally and in Israel. We planted parsley with the hopes it will be gown in time for Passover.

We had a wonderful helper this week, a grade 7 student doing her Bat Mitzvah project.  She read a wonderful book about Tu B’ shvat to us. We finished with some work with our Alef-Bet books.
