Sunday February 28 – Ariella

This week in grade 1 we had many special activities! The students learned Purim songs in music, and then went to art, where they learned about artistic styles around the world. The students created an art piece inspired by South African culture. We also learned about the letter ‘Samech’, and reviewed the holiday of Sukkot  (the word starts with the letter ‘samech’).

Next week, we are excited to invite the grade 1 parents to join us at 10:45 am for a Pre – Purim Palooza! There will be a Mishloach Manot gift exchange, and decorating props for Purim costumes. Hope to see everyone there!
