Sunday February 21 – Ariella

The grade 1 students were happy to see each other after a long weekend last week!

We learned the letter Nun, and the word “ner” (candle). We learned about the Ner Tamid, the light in a synagogue that is always burning. We also had an exciting activity with our Shinshinim. The students got a video tour of our Shinshinim’s neighbourhood, and then everyone baked challah together.
