As Holocaust memorial day is this week, and Yom Ha’atzmaut is coming up next week, we shared some stories and feelings about the unexplained sad and horrible events of the Holocaust, and the history that eventually led to the birth of Israel.

We also continued with the study of the 2 prophets that we started with before Passover, Jeremiah and Jonah. Both prophets did not like their jobs and were trying to run away from their responsibilities.

In Hebrew we read blessings of peace and tried to understand the meaning of what we are asking God to give us in these blessings.
