Sunday April 30 – Daniel

This week we continued learning about the last parts of the life cycle in the Jewish tradition.  We learned about the periods of Shiv, and Shloshim and, we spoke about ways in which we remember people on Yartzeit, the anniversary of a persons death. We read a great book called “The Memory Tree” that talks all about the powerful memories that we can embrace after loved ones are gone. In Hebrew, we checked our progress over the term as we prepare to wrap up our learning.
