Sunday April 29, 2018 – Daniella
Dear Parents,
This week we talked about being kind to animals and making sure that we treat them with respect. We also started to talk about Shavuot which is when we celebrate receiving the Torah. We also had the pleasure of having Noa join our class today and talk to the students about hiking in Israel.
The students then drew amazing pictures of the desert with camels, water, sand or cliffs. We also had help from our amazing student teacher, Corey, who taught our letter of the week which is Ayin and our word was Oogah (cake). He had all the students colour in a puzzle piece and then they all had to find the puzzle piece that fit theirs and it turned out to be a cake!
Next week, we will learn more about Shavuot and we will continue to learn the Aleph Bet the next letter is Pay. I also want to invite all families to join us at our barbecue next week, that we will be having at 12pm. I hope to see you all there!
Sincerely,
Daniella Lebow
