Sunday April 23 – Alexandra
Dear JK Parents,
Welcome back! We had a wonderful day talking about recycling and other ways we can care for the earth. I mentioned this in class, but I encourage you to remind your children that taking care of the earth is a mitzvah, and to keep on doing those little actions that help a lot, such as turning off the lights when you leave a room, not leaving faucets running, taking shorter showers, and of course, recycling and reusing!
A reminder that Friday May 5th is our JK/SK/Grade 1 Family First Friday. The JKs will be singing some of the prayers and songs that we’ve learned in class. The service begins at 6pm, followed by dinner. For additional information and to register for our semi-pot luck, kosher chicken dinner, please click on this link:

Next week is Israel’s birthday, and we have a great party planned, including crafts. dancing, and a visit from our Shinshinim! See you then!
Shavua Tov, have a good week!
Alexandra
