Sunday April 22, 2018 – Tali
Shalom everyone.
Today was dedicated to Israel’s remembrance day – Yom Hazikaron and independence day- Yom Ha’atzmaoot as it was Israel’s 70th birthday this week. We remembered 23,500 soldiers and people that died at the hands of terrorists so that we will be able to celebrate. Our amazing Shinshinim taught us a Hebrew song and a dance.
We played a game of snakes and latters with Hebrew words related to Israel and talked about some of the amazing things that were invented in Israel. As well, we concluded the study of the prophets Jeremaya and Jonah.
In Hebrew we read the “Sim Shalom” prayer in our Hebrew books as we are trying to perfect our reading , and Shalom -peace is what we wish Israel and the rest of the world.
