Hello Families!

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great snow day… in April. 😞

Today we joined our Grade 4 buddies early for a special Israel celebration. The Shinshinim showed us videos about Israel’s Independence Day, and taught us a dance to and Israeli song. Tefilah was great, followed by a play about people sharing what little they had.

The Shinshinim came to our class for an extra special long time. We played a game where we took a virtual hike through all of Israel. We listed what to pack for our long hike, and saw pictures of the Shinshinim on various hiking trails. We also had a detailed discussion about what it’s like to ride a camel.

We read the book “Good Night Israel” that had pictures of various cities. We talked about each place, especially the Dead Sea!
