Sunday April 22, 2018 – Jaclyn (Carly)
Our Grade 2 students, with Supply teacher, Carly Arch, worked through a number of activities this week!
After a review of Yom Ha’Atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day – 70 years) we worked on our next tasks!
On Sunday, May 6th all are invited to join us for Siyum HaSefer – our aleph-bet ceremony! We have worked really hard this year learning all the letters and vowels of the alef-bet, and look forward to sharing our learning with our parents. Please join us on Sunday, May 6th – our service begins at 10:00 followed by our ceremony at 10:30.
We also started learning about the holiday of Shavuot (coming up on May 19 (in the evening) where we commemorate the giving of the Torah. We made our own 10 commandments – thinking about rules for how we all should live.
Looking forward to seeing you next week!
