Sunday April 17 – Tali
Shalom everyone:
We’re working hard on improving our Hebrew reading as we concluded the prayer “Oseh Shalom”- making peace. We read that the root of the word Shalom means whole and that both names -Jerusalem and Solomon have that root in their names.
We read a verse from the prophet Isaiah which indicates how the quest for peace has always been important to the Jewish people. We had music with Mike and sang some more Passover songs. We went over some of the Passover questions that we wrote last week and tried to answer them as well.
I’d like to wish all of you a happy Passover and I’ll see you all in two weeks.
