The Supreme Court of Canada has significantly shifted the discussion about end-of-life treatment for people facing painful, terminal illnesses.  Jews, like all religious peoples, ought to study our own religious laws and standards of practice so that we can make decisions informed by the spirit, as well as by the body and the psyche.
