Becca Hornstein is the mother of two children.  She shared the story of her children at a Shabbaton I had the privilege of attending a few years ago. Her son Joel has autism; her daughter Shayna was born with severe, but temporary physical disabilities.  Initially Becca was very angry at G-d and withdrew from Judaism; her dreams and visions of her children’s lives and futures were shattered.
