Scholar in Residence Weekend with Student Rabbi Pesach Stadlin
June 6 – 8, 2014.
A spiritual teacher known for his personal devotion to living a life guided by Judaism and environmentalism, Student Rabbi Stadlin will help us connect our lives, through real experiences and sacred texts, to the amazing world around us.
- 6:00 p.m. on June 6, join us for a special Kaballat Shabbat with Student Rabbi Pesach Stadlin. We are working with our friends at Annex Shul to make this a welcoming Shabbat experience for our wider community, and will have a special 20s and 30s dinner following the service. If you are interested in the dinner, please email Rabbi Helfman.
- On Saturday June 7, at 1:15 p.m., join us for a Shabbat walk leaving from the Ava Road Foyer. Student Rabbi Pesach Stadlin will guide us on a nature walk in our synagogue neighborhood and discuss the interconnected system of plant life that grows around us.
- Sunday June 8, families of all ages are invited to join Pesach Stadlin at Shoresh’s Bela Farms as we spend an active afternoon at the farm. More full details to follow soon. If your family is interested in this active experience, please let Rabbi Helfman know.
