Rabbinic Reflection: Rabbi Zachary Goodman
During this time of physical distancing, our Passover Seders are going to look and feel significantly different than in previous years. This global health crisis brings new meaning to our age-old question: “Why is this night different from all other nights?” Especially in these unprecedented times, it is important for us to turn towards our traditions and fulfill the mitzvot of Pesach!
Planning a Seder can take a lot of work and creativity in a typical year. This year, even the task of gathering the components of the Seder plate can be challenging.
Holy Blossom is here to help! We will be hosting a Virtual Passover Seder that you are warmly invited to. We are also pleased to be able to offer our members the opportunity to have their Passover Seders catered by Apex Kosher Catering!
Seder plates are available for $20, and there is also a full menu to choose from to build your Seder meal. Apex Kosher Catering is certified kosher and is taking additional sanitizing precautions during this time.
- Option A) Ordering a Seder plate only
- This can be found under the section entitled “Additional”
- Option B) Seder plate and Dinner
- Be sure to include the Seder plate option as well as your Kosher dinner
ORDERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP ONLY AND MUST BE PLACED BY MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2020.
Orders pick-up will be between 10:00 am – 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 at our neighbours, Beth Tzedec Congregation, 1700 Bathurst St.
If finances are a hardship and you would like Holy Blossom to gift a Seder plate to you, please contact JoAnne Bieman (jbieman@holyblossom.org) who can arrange this for you.
We hope you will join our Virtual Passover Seder and take advantage of this Seder in a Box opportunity.
Take good care of yourselves and each other!

Hi. Can I make arrangements to purchase and pick up a prayer book so that I can follow virtual services? Please let me know if that is doable at this moment I time. Thanks.
