Portals into our Future…
Thanks to all of you who took the time during the recent High Holy Days to view our exciting construction progress from the numerous portals on the site. Based upon the feedback received from so many of our fellow members, and the enthusiastic response to Cary Solomon’s “virtual tour”, it is clear that we are all eagerly awaiting the completion of Phase One of our Renewal Project.
In case you missed seeing the construction site during the High Holy Days, the viewing portal at the rear of the Youth Chapel on the third floor will remain in place for the next couple of months. In addition, whenever the Sanctuary is in use, the window in the covered walkway to the School Wing provides a great look inside the south end of the new Atrium. Finally, on the Dewbourne side, the mesh that covers the construction fence has been peeled back to allow a completely different view. All of this is, of course, in addition to the two site cameras that can be accessed at all times by clicking here!
And just a reminder that, even with all of the construction underway on campus, Holy Blossom continues to operate as a fully functioning synagogue, every day of the week, including offering our full slate of worship services and programs during the remainder of the High Holy Days. Many thanks go to our dedicated clergy, staff, volunteers, architects and contractors for helping make our present as workable as it can be, as we see HBT’s future take shape right before our eyes.
Please click here to see the latest photos of our Atrium and the rest of Phase 1 construction. As you know, Phase 1 of our Renewal Project includes our transformative Central Atrium, brand new Family Chapel, Café, Youth Lounge, Judaica Shop, Library, and more … all in a LEED Silver Certified, environmentally-friendly building.
As always, we thank you for your continued readership, viewership and support (financial and otherwise) of our Renewal Project at Holy Blossom.
