Our Jewish Mission to Spain

WITH HOPE AND BENY MAISSNER

It is now getting big impressive and the BUZZ is all over the USA and CANADA.

We now count over 40 Cantors and over 280 CONGREGANTS joining us for this incredible mission.

From Barcelona, Cordova, Girona, Toledo, to Madrid, with concerts lectures led by Dr. Steven Burke and other scholars form Israel, touring and good food. This promises to be an incredible experience.

This trip is being organized by the Cantors Assembly of which I am presently serving on the executive council. We will be meeting Spanish Officials, American, Canadian and Israeli Diplomats, learning with renowned scholars as well as meeting with Jewish community leaders who represent some 20,000 Jews now living in Spain.

As in the past missions to Poland and Germany this trip marks the trilogy mission making our statement “WE ARE HERE” after more then 500 years, we bring back to Spain our Jewish culture.

Cantors whose purpose is to be ambassadors of Jewish culture, are helping to further dialogue and build a stronger relationship between Spain, Israel and world Jewry. Our previous missions to Poland and Germany were literally life changing experiences inspiring, emotional, fun and educational.

Those were and this will be an extraordinary Jewish adventure.
