Oratorio Abraham

I have been privileged to know and work with David Warrack a superb and sensitive musician for a long time.
David was our second accompanist and choir leader over the High Holy Days at Holy Blossom Temple.
This ORATORIO ABRAHAM is a unique work of Art and a significant message to the world especially these days when we need to bring the message of peace and understanding between nations religions and cultures. It is my honour to be involved in this enterprise of the three monotheistic religions –  Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The oratorio portrays three dimensions of our common ancestor. AVRAHAM – ABRAHAM – IBRAHIM.
Our three organizations through the Inter Culture Dialogue (IDI), together with Metropolitan United Church, and Holy Blossom Temple, have been working together in the past and are now joining forces in a symposium – “A DAY OF PEACE”.
I am particularly proud to be in partnership with this cultural event which will take place Wednesday October 28th at 8:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan United Church.
We are looking forward to have our members of Holy Blossom support and join us for this incredible performance. We are looking anxiously to be performing this oratorio at Holy Blossom Temple next season as part of our own Musical Heritage Concert Series.
