Only 4 Days until our Housewarming Celebration and Dedication!
Only 4 Days until our Housewarming Celebration and Dedication!
Can you feel the excitement? The anticipation?
After almost 20 years of discussing, visioning, conceiving, planning, designing, re-designing and constructing – we officially open our Beit Knesset, our House of Gathering, this coming Sunday from 2:30-5:30, and light the first candle of Chanukah, together, as a community.
How fitting that truly is. A project that is succeeding because of the enormous efforts and generosity of what WE are contributing to it. A project that, by its very design, brings us together, in our new Temple Living Room, strengthening our bonds of community. What an afternoon this will be! Music. Activities for the whole family. Docent-led tours of our new and renewed spaces. Special guests. And of course, it all culminates in a historic ceremony and dedication, with our combined choirs in the Main Sanctuary.
You all saw the beauty, and the real power of this space to bring us together, when we opened it up, as a work still in progress, during the High Holy Days. How families were embracing and how we all were laughing, sharing stories and schmoozing in our new Central Atrium. Now imagine it with all the finishes in place – paint, our living wall, glass railings, flooring, and furniture. Friends, it is breathtaking! So PLEASE COME, help us light the first Chanukah candle and share in the continuing history of Holy Blossom Temple with our whole community.

We’ve cracked $29 million in funds raised
More great news to coincide with Sunday’s Housewarming: we hit, and then sailed well past the $29 million barrier, having raised over $200,000 in the last 2 weeks alone. Our total now stands at just a little under $29.2 million raised and momentum is strong. There is less than $4 million to go to complete Phase 1 fundraising!
Our goal is for every congregant to say “Hineini” – Here I am – and to make a personally meaningful gift. To this end, we’re reaching out, one by one, to every congregant over the next number of months. So that we can all share in the joy of what we’re accomplishing together.
As always, we thank you for all your support, financial and otherwise, of our Renewal Project.
