October 26 – Grade 8 – Karen Kollins

The Grade 8s had a great class, using the idea of a ‘bridge’ to frame our learning this year. We discussed how Grade 8 is like a bridge, connecting us from our pre bar/bat mitzvah selves to our post bar/bat mitzvah selves.
 
Just as bridges support and lead us, so too, will this formative year. To highlight this idea we made our own bridges (lots of lego fun!) and presented them to each other as metaphors for our Jewish identity journey.
