October 18 – Grade 1 – Daniella
Dear Parents,
It was a very busy day in class!
In Hebrew, we learned the letter Gimmel and how to say ‘ice cream’ in Hebrew, Glidah. We took our own vote. Our class liked chocolate ice cream the best!
In our second lesson with the Shinshinim, we drank chocolate milk out of a bag like they do in Israel – it was really cool!
For our lesson in Torah – we put on a little play about the story of Jacob and Esau. As a reminder – the story is about twins – the sons of Isaac & Rebecca. They both wanted their father’s blessing and birthright. What happens? Next week we will be learning the new Hebrew letter Daled and about Jacob and his children.
