November 4 in Grade 3

Through Hangman and a matching word game, Grade 3 developed clear definitions for life cycle events such as, Bar/Bat-Mitzvahs, Baby Namings, & Brises. We also began getting excited for the upcoming holiday of CHANUKAH! It falls early this year! We are beginning to use our Hebrew names more, and we played a name game to become more familiar with them. We practiced reading Hebrew letters, and focused on the different dots that produce different sounds when placed beneath a letter. Next week, we will ensure that each student knows which older adult they will be bringing to participate in INTER-GENERATIONAL DAY which is coming up at the end of the month!
