November 4 in Grade 2
This week in Grade 2 we started making invitations to Intergenerational Day; a day where students are asked to invite a “special older person” from their family to school to participate in fun activities! We also had our Shinshinim come visit this week to play fun games and teach us some Hebrew words.
In Hebrew class this week we learned a new word. We learned that ברכה means blessing. We also were able to build on our Hebrew alphabet. We learned the letter “Chaf” which makes a “HHH” sound like at the beginning of the word “Hummus”. We also played a few different games that worked on our letter recognition and sounds.
