November 18 in Grade 3

In grade 3 this week we began getting real excited for Channukah! We started off the day creating our own Channukah themed comic strips, and ended off by acting out the story of Chanukah, playing a human menorah and all! It was especially fun to have a visit from our school wandering minstrel, Avishai, who taught us some interesting new tunes! Somehow, we fit some Hebrew letters and sounds in the mix, and charades just always creeps in on us, as it is a clear favorite activity amongst this group!

We are looking forward to Intergenerational Day next week!
