November 16 – Hebrew – Sandra

Today we did a review reading test of the first 4 sentences of the Friday night Kiddush
Next week we will finish all the reading and we will chant the Kiddush
We started talking about what is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah; we  brainstormed together about where the Torah portion comes from and why we say blessings before and after reading from the Torah.
Looking ahead: We will soon start learning the Torah Blessings

In our second hour, the HABSTY students showed the trailer for Woman in Gold followed by questions for each class and a discussion over cereal and milk. Our HABSTY students did a great job!
