November 15 – Grade 2 – Dara

Shalom Grade 2 Families,
This week we started Sunday’s class with a visit from Sharon the Librarian. We read a story about Chanukah and had a class discussion about what makes Chanukah so special! We spoke about our favourite parts, like getting presents, celebrating with family and friends and lighting the candles!
After services we moved onto Lesson 12 in Hebrew. We learned the letter Yud which makes a y sound. Next week we’re learning final mem in lesson 13.
