November 15 – Grade 1 – Daniella

On Sunday we learned the letter Zayin and our new word is Zebra. The students made the letter Zayin with clay.
Sharon came to our class today and we listened to two books about Hachnasat Orchim (welcoming guests into our house). The books were about Chanukah and inviting a cat and stranger in for food. We learned that it’s a mitzvah to help others in need, even animals.
Next week, we will be learning the letter Chet and continue with learning about Hachnasat Orchim.
