November 15 – Grade 1 – Ariella

This week, both Grade One classes came together to hear Chanukah stories read by our librarian, Sharon Singer. They connected the stories to the mitzvot that they have been learning about.
The students did skits about the mitzvot of Hachnasat Orchim (inviting guests) and Bikur Cholim (visiting people who are sick).  
The students also learned about the letter vav, and made paper flowers for the word “vered” (rose).
